I came into the project management profession somewhat by accident. My boss asked me to handle a project and I found I enjoyed the process of collaborating with the team, monitoring tasks, solving problems, and more. I decided to make it official by earning the Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute. As I started working with churches, I found that the same project management principles that worked in the corporate world could easily be adapted to help church leaders.
In this post for ChurchTechToday, I address the issue of bad church project management and offer tips to avoid that problem.
